Representing Western Australia in interstate cricket and the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League, Connolly has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young talents in Australian cricket.


Connolly's leadership qualities became evident early in his career when he was appointed captain of the Australia Under-19 team for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. His captaincy was further highlighted by his role as the leader of the Western Australia Under-17 cricket team, demonstrating his ability to inspire and lead from the front.
