Biography
Shalabh Srivastava is a left arm medium-pacer and hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh. He has represented his home side in the domestic arena. A tall lad who generates most of his pace from a high arm action, Srivastava opened the bowling for the Indians in the Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka with great success. He was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 14 wickets at 17.57. Accuracy has been his forte of picking up wickets, more than the pace. He has the unique ability to move the ball, both off the wicket and in the air.
He was signed by the Kings XI Punjab in the 2011 season of the IPL.
